Lagos—Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has sent a draft of a key oil bill intended to overhaul the country’s oil and natural gas sector to parliament for deliberations, oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke said July 18. “I am happy to announce to you that this morning Mr. President forwarded the Petroleum Industry Bill to the national assembly,” state radio quoted Alison-Madueke saying in Abuja.
