Sydney—The development of a new upstream gas trading hub at Wallumbilla in the eastern Australian state of Queensland is among the agenda items for a meeting next month between the country’s federal and state energy ministers. The proposed hub is part of the Australian federal government’s gas market development plan, which is being implemented by the Council of Australian Governments’ Standing Council on Energy and Resources, or SCER, federal Minister for Resources and Energy Gary Gray said this week.
