Jerusalem—Israel’s Tamar consortium is in talks with several potential customers and LNG distributors for the sale of gas from the Tamar offshore field, Israeli explorer and Tamar partner, Delek Drilling, said May 20. Delek said talks with potential buyers of gas from the Tamar field were in various stages and agreements could be signed with them similar to a letter of intent initialed in March with Russia’s Gazprom.
