Kuwait City—Oil production is graduallyincreasing in African countries, apart fromSouth Sudan, the International Energy Agencysaid March 14.The agency said commercial production inUganda could begin as early as next year afterUK-listed Tullow Oil signed two key productionsharing agreements with the government.The deal allows Tullow to complete itslong-awaited $2.9 billion farm-down of itsstakes in three oil blocks in the east Africancountry to Total and China’s CNOOC.
