Houston—The US’ total energy-related prod-ucts and crude oil imports in January fell 8.1%to 11.121 million b/d over the same monthin 2011, the Department of Commerce saidMarch 9.January’s total energy-related productsimports were 0.9% higher than December’sfigures. US crude imports in January fell 6.9%to 8.733 million b/d over January 2011 andwere 2.9% lower than December’s figure of8.998 million b/d.
