Cheniere Energy shares increase 8% after s&P upgrade

Washington-Shares of Houston-based Cheniere Energy closed nearly 8.3% higher February 13 at $15.08 each after Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised by one notch its credit ratings and that of its Sabine Pass LNG subsidiary. S&P late February 10 raised the credit rat- ings of Cheniere Energy to B- and that of its Sabine Pass LNG subsidiary to BB-, citing the company's "improved ability to access capital markets."
