Argentina plans to invest $30 million on shale well

Buenos Aires-Argentina's state energy com- pany Enarsa has agreed to finance the drilling of a $30 million exploration well in Neuquen, a southwestern province with large shale potential, the provincial government said Feb- ruary 13. Enarsa will provide the funds to Gas y Petroleo del Neuquen, the state oil company of Neuquen, for the drilling of a third exploratory well at the Aguada del Chanar block, Neuquen Governor Jorge Sapag said in a statement post- ed on his government's website.
