Vienna—OPEC should start to see crudeoverproduction of 1.6 million b/d start to fallin July, secretary general Abdalla el-Badri toldreporters June 15, a day after the oil producergroup agreed to retain the 30 million b/d out-put ceiling that has been in place since thebeginning of the year.In its official communique, OPEC saidmember countries should adhere to the 30million b/d ceiling, meaning that around 1.6million b/d of output needed to be withdrawnfrom the market.
