Sydney-Australia's Cougar Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Medco Energi Mining Internasional to identify and assess coal deposits in Indonesia suitable for underground coal gasification technology and prepare for preliminary studies on their commercial development, the company said in a statement November 28.
