BP sells US Gulf field stakes to Stone for $204 million

London-BP has agreed to sell its interests in the US Gulf of Mexico Pompano and Mica fields to Stone Energy for $204 million in cash, BP said November 18. The agreement covers BP's 75% operated interest in Pompano and 50% non-operated stake in Mica, as well as a 51% share in Mississippi Canyon block 29 and interests in some other leases near Pompano, BP said in a statement.
