Machine for removing stones from fields - picks up earth and stone mix which is sorted by rotating drum and screen, with stones discharged into trailers

The machine comprises a chassis (1) mounted on two wheels (2) and drawn behind a tractor. A drum (5) is fitted on the chassis, its open end pointing forwards and constantly rotating. The open end picks up a mixture of stones and earth, previously collected in rows, and passes it into a rotating screen mounted above. The earth is sorted and passes between the bars comprising the sides of the screen and is then returned to the field. The stones enter a bucket wheel (6) at the rear and are elevated onto a side discharging conveyor loading into a trailer. The angle of the drum relative to the soil can be altered.
