New York-New York Mercantile Exchange June RBOB futures rallied May 9, settling 18.83 cents higher at $3.2784/gal, driven by tight US supply/demand balances and concerns that Mississippi River flooding could impact area refineries. The rally was extended across the petroleum complex, with NYMEX June crude oil settling $5.37 higher at $102.55/b, regaining some ground after last week's steep selloff. June heating oil followed suit, settling 11.61 cents higher at $2.9618/gal, after reaching a session high of $2.9881/gal. On ICE, June Brent rose $6.77 to settle at $115.90/b.
