Taiwan's gas demand seen up 55% by 2020

Singapore-Taiwan's gas consumption is estimated to increase to 14 million mt by 2020 and 16 million mt by 2025, up 55% and 77% respectively from 9.02 million mt in 2009, an official with Taiwan's Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, who declined to be named, told Platts January 26.
