Grunnprognoser for Utvikling i Innenlands Persontransport fram til ar 2020 (Basic Forecasts for Domestic Travel Demand to Year 2020).

The Norwegian Department of Transport and Communications is going to present a 'national transport plan' in year 2000. The plan shall include a proposed investment program for the different sectors. As part of the input to this work, a basic forecast of domestic travel demand is needed. Forecasts for year 2000 and 2020 based on the national travel demand model are presented in this document. The forecasts cover all modes of travelling. Important inputs to the model are expected development in population and income as well as expected changes in relative prices for different modes of transport.
