Plains plans oil line from shale area to Corpus Christi

Houston-Plains All American Pipeline has committed to build a 300,000 b/d crude and condensate pipeline from the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas to Corpus Christi at a cost of $330 million, the company said May 17. The new pipeline and terminal facility at Corpus Christi is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
