摘要

Singapore-Freezing weather and icy rain that have struck China since the beginning of this month are expected to have a big impact on oil and electricity supplies as the bad weather continues, analysts said this week. "Cold weather in China is expected to inten- sify over the coming weeks and this, in our view, is likely to exacerbate the squeeze in elec- tric power availability within the country," said Adam Sieminski, Deutsche Bank's chief energy economist, in a research note earlier this week.
