ONGC makes onshore oil, offshore gas finds in east India

Sydney-India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, or ONGC, has begun producing a small volume of oil at an onshore discovery in the Cauvery Basin and made a gas find in a shallow- water well in the Krishna Godavari Basin in eastern India, the state-owned upstream company said in a statement October 15.
