Indonesia's December LNG exports drop 4.8% on 2008

Singapore-Indonesian LNG exports dropped in December to 1.92 million mt, down 4.8% year on year and down 14.4% from November, according to latest data from the country's central bank.The fall in exports followed a spike in shipment volume in November, when Indonesia exported 2.25 million mt, the highest monthly volume for two years. The record export volume may have been due to the ramping up of production at the Tangguh project, which had seen only sporadic initial output after starting up in July 2009.
