NYMEX crude, products contracts off on profit-taking

New York-New York Mercantile Exchange September crude oil settled 32 cents lower at $78.98/barrel July 23 as a wave of profit-taking emerged following the prior day’s dramatic price increases. ICE September Brent settled 34 cents lower at $77.48/b. NYMEX August RBOB settled at $2.1222/gal, down 2.44 cents, and August heating oil fell 1.19 cents to settle at $2.0505/gal.
