Chandran family sells Chemoil stake to Glencore

Singapore-The Chandran family has sold its 50.81% stake in Singapore-listed bunker fuel supplier Chemoil to Glencore unit Singfuel, according to a notice posted on the Singapore Exchange February 26.The stake was sold as expected to Singfu-el by a trust run by the family of Chemoil founder Robert Chandran (ON 2/26). The family decided to sell its stake in the company after Chandran was killed in a January 2008 helicopter crash in Indonesia.
