Iran’s gasoline exports directed mainly to Iraq, customs bureau says

Tehran-Iran is exporting surplus gasoline produced at its petrochemicals plants to neighboring Iraq, Afghanistan and Armenia as its own consumption has fallen, with Iraq accounting for roughly half of the purchases. Iraq was the main importer of Iranian gasoline, accounting for 47% of total exports from its neighbor and fellow OPEC member since Iran began gasoline exports, the official news agency IRNA reported October 24.
