Lundin starts oil output at Volund off Norway

Copenhagen-Swedish oil and gas producer Lundin Petroleum said May 3 it had started oil production from the Volund field, offshore Norway. Volund field is in block 24/9 of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, about 8 km south of the Alvheim field in Production License, PL150. Volund is a subsea tieback to the Alvheim floating, production, storage and offloading vessel.
