Arrow wins go-ahead for Surat gas pipeline

Sydney-Australia's Arrow Energy has been given the green light to develop the Surat Gladstone Pipeline, which will supply coal seam gas to its proposed LNG project at Fisherman's Landing in Queensland, the company said in a statement February 19.The Queensland government has awarded Arrow a license for the development of a 470 km (291 mile) buried high-pressure steel gas transmission pipeline between its coal seam gas operations near Dalby in the Surat Basin and the liquefaction plant at Fisherman's Landing in the east coast port city of Gladstone.
