Russia's Rosneft doubles Q4 net income to $1.7 billion

Moscow-Russian state-owned oil producer Rosneft February 1 posted net income of $1.674 billion for the fourth quarter of 2009, more than double the profit for the same period the previous year, as a result of higher crude oil and oil product prices and growth in crude production volumes.Revenues in the quarter rose to $14.6 billion, up 34.9% year on year and 11.6% quarter on quarter.
