London-RWE Dea Chairman Georg Schoning said September 22 that the German upstream company could pursue broad-based expansion plans stretching from western Africa to former Soviet bloc countries to help it achieve ambitious oil output targets for 2014/15. The central element in RWE Dea's plan to double production to 70 million barrels of oil equivalent (190,000 boe/d) by 2014/15 is based on already proven discoveries, Schon-ing said in a company presentation.
