TNK-BP starts oil output from north of Kamennoye

London-Anglo-Russian major TNK-BP has launched commercial oil production from the northern part of the Kamennoye field in the Khanty-Mansiisk region of West Siberia, the company said June 2. "A significant rise in production volumes is ensured by commissioning of the northern part of the oil field," the company said, adding that this year the Kamennoye field as a whole will produce 1.8 million mt (37,000 b/d) of crude, a 40% increase on the previous year.
