Israeli group to drill to confirm size of gas find

Jerusalem-The consortium searching for natural gas off Israel’s northern Mediterranean coast has approved the drilling of two more wells in order to confirm the size of the Tamar find announced last month, the operating partners said February 1. Drilling of the Tamar-2 and Dalit-1 wells will begin immediately after production tests are completed on Tamar-1, the group said.
