Warsaw-Grupa Lotos, Poland’s secondlargest refiner, has postponed investments worth Zloty 2.1 billion ($600 million) over the next three years because of the global economic crisis, the company said February 11. “In relation to the uncertain market situation and the reduced possibility of securing financing, the board took the decision to suspend Zloty 2.1 billion worth of investment projects set out in the company’s 2006-2012 strategy,” Lotos said.
