Chevron lifts force majeure on Escravos crude loadings

Lagos-US major Chevron said January 7 the force majeure on crude oil loadings from Nigeria’s Escravos export terminal, declared in November, has been lifted. “Chevron Nigeria confirms that the force majeure declared on November 18 on its Escravos terminal in Delta State has been lifted effective January 1, 2009,” the company said in a statement.
