Nigeria sees gas agreements in January 2010

Abuja-Nigeria hopes to reach final agreements with investors interested in building natural gas infrastructure in the country by January 2010, Nigeria's Petroleum Ministry said August 5.According to the timeline for the implementation of the Nigerian gas master plan released by the ministry in Abuja, submission of bids from the local and foreign companies shortlisted in April would close on October 16, while evaluation of the bids and notification of winners would be carried out in November. Agreements are expected to be finalized in January.
