Eni posts Q2 profit gain, confident on more output hikes

London—Italian oil and gas major Eni reported July 31 adjusted net profit for the second quarter of Eur2.32 billion (3.62 billion), up 4.4% from Eur2.22 billion a year earlier, on the back of higher oil and gas prices and an increase in upstream production.
