Spanish bank La Caixa not in talks over Repsol sale

London-Spanish savings bank La Caixa said December 29 it is no longer in talks with Russia's Lukoil about the sale of part of the bank's interest in Spanish oil major Repsol YPF. "The Caixa Group is not in any negotiation relating to the sale of the said stake," it said in a statement to the Madrid Stock Exchange. On November 21, La Caixa's parent company Criteria Caixacorp said it has had talks with Lukoil and "various potential investors" about selling its 14% Repsol stake.
