Tupras signs up Shell to improve Turkish refineries

Istanbul—Turkish refiner Tupras has signed an agreement with Shell Global Solutions to help improve the efficiency and lower operating costs at its four refineries, Tupras said late January 22. A joint review will look at the areas of health and safety, maintenance and reliability, operating and maintenance costs, and workforce efficiency with a view to identifying improvements and prioritizing them for implementation, Tupras said.
