Rowan to add six jackups, reports higher earnings

New York-US contract driller Rowan Companies has ordered four Super 116E class jack-up rigs at a total cost of about 700 million from marine fabricator Keppel AmFELS and plans to build two more jackups at a cost of about 400 million, Rowan said November 1.
