PDVSA says in talks with Chevron on LNG complex

Cumana, Venezuela-Venezuelan state PDVSA is in talks with Chevron on possible participation by the US major in a planned 4.7 million mt/year LNG complex in eastern Venezuela, according to PDVSA general manager for offshore operations Carlos Figuere-do October 19.Figueredo said Chevron would have a minority share in the plant, to be located in the city of Guiria. "The control of the plant will be in the hands of PDVSA," he said on the sidelines of a 7th annual International Gas Exposition in Cumana.
