Natural Fuel begins building Singapore biodiesel plant

Singapore-Construction work has begun at a giant new biodiesel refinery in Singapore which would remain financially viable even with light, sweet crude prices of 35/barrel, project proponent Australia's Natural Fuel said November 8. Natural Fuel has begun building a 130 million biodiesel facility on Jurong Island and plans to start production from the plant's 600,000 mt/year first phase in late 2007.
