Poland's Lotos wins extension of exploration license

London-Poland's integrated Grupa Lotos has received a three-year extension from the Ministry of the Environment to a major oil exploration license in the Baltic Sea, the company said November 10. It is Poland's secondlargest refiner and it aims to boost domestic production to relieve dependence on Russian crude imports.
