Marathon hikes Garyville expansion cost to 3 billion

Houston-The revised price tag for Marathon Oil's proposed expansion of its Garyville, Louisiana, refinery will now be 3 billion, up from an earlier 2.2 billion, because of higher contractor costs and greater processing capacity of some units, the oil major said August 1.
