Petroecuador's crude output slowly recovers as contractor strike ends

Crude production at Ecuador's state oil company Petroecuador is recuperating more slowly than expected after the most recent strike to hit the company ended late March 12 after a week of protests.Output was at 166,177 b/d at 6 a.m.March 13,a little more than 80% of normal production of 200,000 b/d.Company officials said last week they expected to reach 180,000 to 190,000 b/d over the weekend.
