Poland's PGNiG inks deal to import VNG gas

London-Polish oil and gas company PGNiG has signed a huge Zloty 4.9 billion ( 1.6 billion) deal to buy up to 500 million cubic meters/year (17.65 Bcf/year) of gas from eastern German gas company VNG in its attempts to reduce its dependency on Russian imports.
