US refiner Giant delays restart of fire-hit FCC

New York-Small US refiner Giant Industries said Feb 28 it has pushed back slightly to "early April" the restart of a 28,000 b/d fluid catalytic cracker damaged in a November fire at its flagship Yorktown,Virginia,plant.Giant had previously targeted the restart by the end of March.
