UTS Energy said Mar 1 Petro-Canada will become its partner in,and operator of,the Fort Hills oil sands mining project in Alberta for C900-mil (724.2-mil).Petro-Canada will pay C300-mil as an earn-in for its 60% stake,and has committed to pay another C600-mil toward the next Cl-bil of development costs through 2008,according to UTS.
