Shell may book 2006 Gorgon proved reserves

Shell,Europe's second-largest oil company,said Apr 7 it may begin recording gas reserves as proven in 2006 from Australia's Gorgon field,which was at the center of the company's reserves-overbooking scandal last year.Shell removed Gorgon gas from its reserves in 2004 as part of five reductions that cut Shell's 2002 holdings to 13.72-bil boe,5.6-bil boe less than first reported (ON 1/12/04).
