London-OPEC will face the need to cut crude output to defend prices unless oil demand rebounds strongly in 2006,the Centre for Global Energy Studies said Nov 21.OPEC has yet to identify a specific price target,but the London-based CGES said in its Monthly Oil Report that the group's more "hawkish" members were likely to start calling for action soon to defend a us50/bbl price,although this level might be too high for the cartel's most powerful member,Saudi Arabia.
