Spot MTBE was assessed 2 cents/gal higher Friday, at $2.33-2.34/gal, up line with worldwide trade.Singapore started the day higher by 5.5 cents/gal, assessed at the equivalent of $2.05/gal based on Chinese buying interest, abetted by the overall crude recovery. Europe was up as well, assessed 2 cents/gal higher, to the equivalent of $2.30/gal.
