Houston-Ecuador's state Petroecuador has signed a two-year contract to sell 69 million barrels of Oriente and Napo crude to Petrochina for $1 billion, Petroecuador said.The agreement, announced last week, calls for Petroecuador to supply six 360,000-barrel cargoes of Oriente, plus or minus 5%, and two 360,000-barrel cargoes of Napo, plus or minus 5%, for loading starting in August.
