International crude: Urals diffs fall as exports rise

Urals differentials in the Mediterranean and Northwest Europe fell Friday as exports of the Russian grade rose. In the Platts Market on Close assessment process, two deals were done in NWE at Dated Brent minus $0.40/barrel. StatoilHydro lifted Shell's offer and Preem lifted Gunvor's offer of Urals cargoes in NWE. Shell's cargo loads October 12-16, while Gunvor's loads 23-27. Before the two deals were done, Total lifted Lukoil's offer of a Urals cargo in NWE at Dated Brent minus $0.35/b scheduled to load October 12-16.
