US West Coast gasoline differentials rallied Friday, driven by news of halted operations at two major refineries. Power was restored to Shell's 145,000 b/d refinery and Tesoro's 100,000 b/d refinery in Anacortes, Washington, after a power outage Thursday interrupted operations, and preparations for restart were being made, spokesmen for the companies said (see Refinery Updates page 14).
