New York-New York Mercantile Exchange crude oil and products markets firmed January 30, propped up by the threat of a strike by union workers at US refineries and a better than expected US GDP report.NYMEX March crude futures settled 24 cents higher at $41.68/barrel, while February RBOB rose 3.8 cents to settle at $1.2689/gal and February heating oil settled 2.55 cents higher at $1.4538/gal.
