Vancouver—Suncor Energy, Canada's second largest oil sands producer, is "turning a corner" to better results in the second half after a prolonged period of setbacks including a 10-month regulatory cap on output from its-Firebag in-situ operation, planned and unplanned maintenance, and a sharp rise in second-quarter cash operating costs, CEO Rick George said July 24.
